How this is calculated

The central financial assistance, or CFA, uses two rate tiers. The first 2 kW of eligible capacity gets ₹30,000 per kW in standard states, or ₹33,000 per kW in the listed special category states and territories. The next 1 kW gets ₹18,000 per kW, or ₹19,800 in special category areas. No extra central amount applies above 3 kW, so the maximum is ₹78,000 in standard states and ₹85,800 in special category areas.
